Argyle Backpackers comprises three adjacent Victorian townhouses; carefully restored to provide clean, comfortable accommodation for travellers on a budget. Sleeping accommodation is either in twin, double or dorm style rooms. Many of the original period features have been retained.

Facilities

Argyle Backpackers is centrally heated, clean and has self-catering kitchens. In addition to a TV lounge and a conservatory, there is a sunny walled garden.

Friendly staff will look after you. As well as being able to provide tourist and travel information they can also take care of your laundry and most creature comforts.

Bedding and towels are provided, as well as tea and coffee. Most rooms have a television.

Reception

'Reception is open from 09.00-22.00. You can check in at any time between 14.00-22.00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in our luggage storage room until your room is ready. Once you have checked in at reception, you shall be issued with a method of entry where you can let yourself into the hostel at any time of the day.

Rooms

Argyle Backpackers can sleep up to thirty in double and twin-bedrooms, and twenty in dorm style accommodation.

Tariff

While not quite the cheapest in Edinburgh we do offer the best value for money.
